1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the JMG Construction Services website and any engagement with JMG Construction Services ("JMG", "we", "us"), a California Licensed General Contractor, License #1007864. By using this site or requesting a consultation, you agree to these Terms.

2. Estimates & Contracts

Website content, ballpark figures, and consultation responses are informational only and do not constitute a bid. All construction work is performed exclusively under a written contract signed by both parties, in compliance with the California Contractors State License Law. Verbal quotes are not binding.

3. Deposits & Payments (California Law)

Per California Business & Professions Code §7159, home improvement down payments never exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. Progress payments follow the schedule stated in your written contract. Mechanics' lien rights and preliminary notices are handled per California Civil Code requirements.

4. Licensing & Insurance

JMG Construction Services operates under CSLB License #1007864, which you may verify at cslb.ca.gov. We maintain general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by California law.

5. Permits & Code Compliance

Where required, JMG obtains building permits and schedules inspections with the applicable city or county authority. Project timelines may be affected by plan-check and inspection schedules outside our control.

6. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All text, imagery, blueprints, and portfolio photographs on this site are the property of JMG Construction Services and may not be reproduced without written permission. Partner and brand names referenced on this site belong to their respective owners.

7. Limitation of Liability

This website is provided "as is." JMG is not liable for decisions made based on website content. Liability for construction work is governed solely by your written contract and applicable California law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
