Commercial & Residential Structural Framing
Load-bearing walls, additions, and seismic-smart structural framing engineered for California.
Historic downtown Victorians and hillside modern estates — remodels and additions that honor character while adding serious square footage.
JMG frames room additions, ADU shells, and open-concept structural conversions with engineered lumber, steel, and hold-down systems that satisfy the strictest Bay Area building departments.
In Los Gatos and across Santa Clara County, JMG delivers framing under California Contractor's License #1007864 — permitted, inspected, and personally overseen by owner Jerry Guinn. Every structural modification is permitted, engineered, and inspected — protecting both your investment and your family's safety in earthquake country.
Los Gatos blends a historic downtown commercial district with hillside neighborhoods like Belgatos and Alta Vista — each with its own review path. Historic-district storefront work follows the town's preservation guidelines; hillside homes need grading and erosion-control plans. JMG runs both under one contract and one schedule.
